Global Cardio Care, Inc.

Global Cardio Care is a physician management company that specializes in an alternative heart bypass solution with EECP (Enhanced External Counterpulsation) and the Sara Soulati Health for Life Program. Simetra was retained to develop a web-based solution using ASP.NET and Microsoft SQL Server. The web-based interface includes a Call Log System that tracks all calls, patient visits and tests performed. A robust patient tracking module was also created that captures information on each patient visit, such as health care providers, coverage, and tests performed. Simetra developed a custom system which integrates seamlessly with data from their “canned” Practice Management software and Electronic Records systems to portray a patient’s position within the treatment program which can range from the first appointment to an Outreach patient who returns for future rounds. Simetra has provided on-going enhancements and modifications to include robust reporting solutions, automatic reminders, and test result analysis.


Serra Manufacturing

Serra Manufacturing has been a pioneer in the manufacturing of precision stamped parts since 1959. Simetra programmers were hired to improve an outdated labor-intensive spreadsheet system used to manage customer payments. Simetra developed a custom Microsoft Access database with a SQL Server backend that imports weekly wire transfers, allows for reconciliation, and exports payment details to Quickbooks. The new process saves Serra Manufacturing hours of frustrating duplicative data entry every week.

Design Center Associates Inc.

Design Center Associates (DCA) is a premier showroom in Southern California for fine home furnishings and decor. Simetra Systems was hired to develop an online system for designers to register on DCA’s existing website. Simetra expert programmers designed a module that allows designers to log on and register after approval. .NET was implemented as a front-end interface to access a back-end SQL database. The custom system allows designers to log in and register to view collections, vendor catalogs, request quotes and place orders. We created an administration section for DCA staff members. The administrative module allows DCA to add and edit collections, vendor catalogs, and review and authorize quotes as well as approve new registrants and view their existing membership.


NavCom Technology Inc.

NavCom Technology, Inc., a John Deere Company, is a leading provider of advanced GPS positioning and wireless communications, autonomous vehicle control and robotics. NavCom hired Simetra Systems to develop an offline support solution for their staff GPS devices. Simetra experts designed various charts through a Visual Basic (VB) Application that allows end-users to upload and input their parameters to perform analysis of their GPS devices. This VB application does not require active internet connection to run analysis and can import the PVT .txt file containing more than 87,000 records. Users can generate single or multiple reports to determine if their GPS device is working properly.
